November 9, 1931 - July 9, 2020
Joan A. Bennett, 88, of Hamilton, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 9, 2020. Joan was born November 9, 1931 in Trenton, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Cathedral High School and attended Rider Business School.
Joan had a wonderful career for many years at Yardville National Bank working with the President and Board of Directors. Joan was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows/St. Anthony’s Parish, a Eucharistic Minister, a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Serra Club and a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital during her retirement for over 20 years.
Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Agnes Mount; wife of the late Robert A. Bennett, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Robert J. and Kathleen Bennett; her daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and William Buckley, Mary Anne and Thomas Moffat, Jr. and Linda and Ralph Fucci. She has seven grandchildren; Nicole and Jared Castellari, Danielle Fucci (fiancé Dennis McGrail) Kendall Bennett, Makenzie Bennett, Thomas Moffat III, Connor Moffat, and Michael Buckley; two great grandchildren; Ava L. and Lucy R. Castellari, and her caregiver Manana Tskhvedze.
Joan loved life. There was nothing she would not do for her family and friends. She loved her Church and lived her faith every day. She will be deeply missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3816 E. State Street, Hamilton. Burial will be private at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.
Services under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, Yardville, NJ.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, masks and social distancing are required and capacity restrictions will be followed for all services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joan’s name to Our Lady of Sorrows/St. Anthony’s Church 3816 East State Street, Hamilton, NJ 08619
