Wilma J. Alexander, 77, of Hamilton Township, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at her home.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
Wilma enjoyed raising her family and always caring for her children. She was a Nanny at heart caring not only for her family and relatives, but friends and all of their children, and especially the children of her neighborhood. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Daughter of the late John and Florence Jenkins Purdy, wife of the late Timothy J. Alexander, Sr., mother of the late Penny Brackel, grandmother of the late Keith Brackel, and predeceased by brothers and sisters, she is survived by her three children, Kathleen Wolverton and her husband Ronald, Sr., Mary Brackel and Mike Kish, and Timothy J. Alexander Jr. and his wife Chris; brother Richard Purdy, Sr.; five grandchildren, Angela Gill and husband T.J., Ronald Wolverton, Jr. and Jessica, Ryan Brackel, Mike Kish, and David South, Jr.; seven great grandchildren; special niece Diana Purdy as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday evening, January 10, 2020 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, 2141 South Broad Street in Hamilton. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
