William T. Kelly, 72, of Hamilton, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2024, with his family by his side after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Bill was born in Bronx, New York. He attended Rice High School (Manhattan) and later went to CUNY Bernard M. Baruch College where he studied accounting. Afterward, he was a New York City policeman for a short time before he transitioned into the commercial sector. There, he worked for different companies and firms until retiring from Fish & Neave LLP (Now Ropes & Gray LLP) as the Director of Finance.
Bill is predeceased by his parents Arthur J. and Therese A. (Callaghan) Kelly and sister Marianne.
Bill was known as a loving, devoted, and proud father to Timothy A. Kelly (Denise), Brian W. Kelly (Larissa), and Thomas P. Kelly and an adoring grandfather to Liam, Tobias, and Benjamin. He is also survived by his siblings Arthur (Denise), Michael (Debbie), James (Olive), Daniel, Therese (John), Marybeth, and Annmarie (Sean), his former wife and forever friend Eileen Kelly and his "5th brother" Roger Audino. Bill will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bill was a devoted father and shared his love of fishing and the outdoors with his sons during their numerous summer vacations to Lake Winnipesaukee and the Adirondacks. He loved to help others and volunteered with the St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish where he supported other activities like bingo and was a Eucharistic Minister.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Yardville, NJ 08620.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, March 8, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Raphael-Holy Angels Church, 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ. There will be no visitation at the funeral home Friday morning prior to mass.

My sincere condolences to the Kelly family on the passing of uncle Billy, and as my children still refer to him uncle Billygoat… he was a loving and caring man, and I recall many happy fun times with him and the family. Sending love and prayers. Kathleen Corrigan-Kelly.
