Toni Emig

February 24, 1944 - December 7, 2022


Antonia “Toni” Emig, 78, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton.


Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident. Toni was employed by the NJ Department of Labor until the 1970’s. She also worked for Roma Savings Bank for many years and was an antiques dealer from 1975-1992. She was co-owner for 3 years of Ceil-Tonia Fashions, a dress shop on South Clinton Avenue that she opened with her childhood friend, Cecilia Fischer.


Predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Lucy (Agastri) Clarici; her sister and brother-in-law, Loretta C. Foley and Jerry Foley; she is survived by her nieces and nephews, Colleen and Don DeBlois of Hamilton, Doreen and Jerry Falsetti of Hamilton, and Jerry and Kristina Foley of Robbinsville; great nieces and great nephews, Brittany and Mike DiGregorio, Alyssa and Stephanie Falsetti, Ava, Sophia and Audrey Foley; great-great nephews, Luca and Noah DiGregorio; former husband, Roger Emig; special cousins, Pat Cirillo, Sandy Connery, Victoria Dovie, Shirley Brodowski; god-daughter, Cindy Mains; and special friends, Cecilia and David Fischer, Cristina and Dan Locko, Roseann Angelillo, Roberta Lohman and Eileen Woolf.


Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, with local clergy officiating.


Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 9:30 until time of the funeral service at the Memorial Home.


Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any charity of the donor’s choice.

I will miss you so much, Toni. We remained the best of friends over the years and you were so much of an encouragement to Becky through her last years of failing health. She loved you as much as I did. You have a special place in Heaven now with all the other angels. Enjoy your peace and everlasting life. Roger
