February 24, 1958 - November 27, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce that our beloved Teresa Rose Bialas, also known as Terri, of Yardville, NJ, sadly left us on November 27, 2024 at the age of 66 years old with family by her side and holding her hand.
Teresa was born on February 24,1958, in Philadelphia, PA to her parents Edward and Dorothy Bialas. She graduated from The Pennington School in Pennington, NJ and graduated college in Philadelphia, PA to become a medical assistant, which she was very proud of. In addition to her career working in the medical field, she also enjoyed working for the family-owned business, Richelieu Construction, in Lawrenceville, NJ; as a manager at the Manors Deli in Lawrenceville, which was owned by her father; as well as at the Princeton University Store; and Foley’s in Hamilton, NJ, before retiring a few years ago.
Terri was strong, beautiful, loving, caring, kind, witty and intelligent. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas and spending time with her family, seeing the joy on everyone’s faces, and driving around after dinner to look at the Christmas lights.
Teresa loved her family and friends dearly. She valued her friendships as her friends were very important to her. A special thank you to her friends that she met over the years who showed her support, care, and generosity. We appreciate your kindness.
Furthermore, she was a strong believer in Gratitude. She loved animals and nature. She would sit outside and watch the deer, rabbits and birds in her backyard – she enjoyed that very much and was excited to share what she saw with family and friends. Additionally, she enjoyed looking at travel photos and reconnecting with long lost friends and family on social media. She absolutely loved the beach, and the sound of the calming ocean waves. Terri spent many beach days each summer in Asbury Park and Long Branch with her daughter Jessica, a memory that will be missed tremendously. Most of all, she was a wonderful loving mother to Jessica, and sister to Edward and David.
Around ten years ago, Terri gained the courage and confidence to speak at, and run, a support meeting, which she enjoyed very much over the years. She was so proud and happy each time.
Terri also had a strong faith in God and found clarity through His love. She will always have a beautiful and good soul with a kind, loving and caring heart. She was spiritual and loved God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Mother.
Teresa is survived by her daughter, Jessica; her brother, Edward; her brother, David; sister-in-law Gina; and son-in-law Jerrell. Preceded in joining the Lord, her father Edward, and mother Dorothy. She will be adoringly remembered and dearly missed as a loving and caring mother, sister, and friend to all who knew her.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at The Church of Saint Ann, 1253 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrence Township, NJ 08648. Family and Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass at the church.
Although Teresa is no longer with us on Earth, She will live in our hearts forever.
Services are under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton, NJ.

Jess, that is the most beautiful obituary I’ve ever read. The love between you and your mom comes through with every word. I learned so much about Terri that I never knew. She will always be in my heart. Love, Kathy Novak
Dear Jessica, David, and Ed, there are no words of comfort to heal your pain. I am so very sorry for your huge loss. This obituary is beautiful and describes Terri 100%. I really loved her. I had not seen her in many years and then we reconnected on social media. I am Steve Knopp’s sister in law—Cathy’s sister. I have so many fond memories of Terri from years gone by! She was so kind and warm and loving which she continued to show on social media! Your loss is great! I am happy to have known Terri.
With all my love,
Cindy Benson Berkelback
