Teresa B. Wieger, 93, of Hamilton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Capital Health Systems at Fuld in Trenton.
Born in Williamstown, County Galway Ireland, she came to Trenton, NJ in 1950 and has been a longtime resident of Hamilton. She was employed with St. Anthony’s High School in their cafeteria for many years, then went on to work for the State of NJ, Division of Gaming Enforcement, retiring after 25 years of service. She was a parishioner of Holy Angels Church, volunteering at their school during the lunch periods, worked at their Bingo’s and was a member of their Altar Rosary Society. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bingo at various locations throughout the area. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who loved spending time with her family, and she made excellent Roast Beef and gravy.
Predeceased by her parents, James and Delia (Mitchell) Cullinan; siblings, Walter Cullinan, Mae Maloney, and Christina Smyth; her husband Richard K. Wieger; she is survived by her 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Maria Wieger, and Robert and Wanda Wieger; 4 grandchildren, Richard (Kristi) Repitsky, Erica Outcalt, Gina Wieger, and Melissa (Michael) Cordo; 8 great grandchildren, Marley, Harper, Raymond, Maria, Sofia, Nicholas, Michael, and Lucas; close cousins, Margaret Kerins and Cathleen Kerins; dear friends, Bernie Walsh and Hanneke de Neve; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends, both in the US and Ireland.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Memorial Home.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, October 16, 2023 at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Church, 3500 South Broad Street, Hamilton.
Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.
