Stephen T. Gore, 72, of, of Hamilton, passed peacefully surrounded by love on February 27, 2025.
Steve grew up in Trenton, NJ and attended both St. Anthony Grammar School and High School, and then went on to Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. He was involved in sports all his life and excelled in baseball and basketball through his high school years. He had a career in Crisis Management at Comdisco Holdings and then CNA Insurance in Chicago until he retired. A few years after returning to NJ, he took on a part time job with Ride Provide in Princeton and enjoyed the interesting stories of all of the people that he drove. He was an incredible husband, dad, stepdad, and grandpa, and loved fulfilling each of those roles. He enjoyed music, concerts, Broadway, travel, the Jersey Shore, and above all, making people laugh. He had a wonderful circle of dear friends that loved him as much as he loved them, and he will be missed by many.
Predeceased by his paretns, William F. and Constance Gore; he survived by his wife of almost 9 years, Sharon Gore; son, Matthew Gore (Julie); daughters Kimberley Setterstrom (Dan), and Danielle Butts (Luke); stepchildren, Matthew Banna (Jennifer Kopoulos), and Isabelle Banna (Michael DiBartolo); grandchildren, Riley, Lucas, Hannah and Lexi Setterstrom, Sydney, Lainey, and Kallie Butts, and Gavin Gore; siblings, Rita Potash (David), Christina Catalfamo (Joseph), Jeffrey Gore (Eileen), and Timothy Gore (Cathy); nieces and nephews, Christopher Potash (Jen), Jill Pienciak (Mark), Kelsey Dugan (MJ), Sarah Gore, and Brooke Catalfamo (Brendon Arnold); great nieces and nephews, Drew, Ava, Mark and Charlie; as well as other relatives and dear friends.
A Gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
