Shirley J. Jaeger, 89, of Bordentown, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton.
Born and raised in Camden, NJ, she met her husband William at a club for the deaf and moved to the Bordentown area where they raised their family. She was employed with RCA and McGraw Hill and retired after many years of service. Shirley was a passionate reader who enjoyed dogs, shopping, and cooking. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, Harry, Sr. and Ethel Everheart; beloved husband William H. Jaeger, Jr.; brother, Harry Everheart; and son-in-law, Warren Couch; she is survived by her daughters, Barbara Couch, Jane Tucci and Ethel (Marty) Gaynor; brother, Robert Everheart; grandchildren, Heather Jaeger, Amber Couch, Jenny Gaynor, Martin (Lauren) Gaynor; Kristine Tucci and James Tucci; dear friends, Debbie Eichinger, Donna Estwan, Don (Ashley) Tarasiewicz, and Julia Weiss; 7 great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and dear friends.
Graveside services will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at the Bordentown Cemetery, 210 Crosswicks Road, Bordentown, NJ 08505.
Services are under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton.
