Roger M. Cullen, 73, of Hamilton, NJ passed away peacefully at home on October 1, 2020 with his loving family by his side.
Born in Bronx, NY, Roger served in the United States Army from January 1964 until December 1966, where he met lifelong friends, and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant E-5. He served as a Hamilton Township Police Officer from October 1, 1979 until July 1, 2010, retiring as Captain.
Roger was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved nothing more than spending time with his family. He loved music, classic cars, spending time in the Pocono Mountains, and writing. He self-published a book in 2017.
Son of the late Roger A. Cullen and Julia (Harry) Conklin, brother of the late Eileen Cullen, Juliann Jackson, and Maureen Tirico, he is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Kelly Cullen; his four beloved children, Roger (Julie) Cullen, Ryan Cullen, Meagan (Christopher) Vuono, and Brendan Cullen; four grandchildren, Roger and Henry Cullen and Finley and Harper Vuono. He will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
He will be laid to rest at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery. Services will be private.
