Joann M. Sereni, 71, of Hamilton passed away peacefully Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Serenity Hospice Inpatient Unit at Robert Wood Johnson surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Trenton, NJ, Joann was a lifelong resident of the area. She began her career as a cashier at Grand Union in Hamilton, NJ and Shop-N-Bag in Morrisville, PA for a combined 25 years of service.
She transitioned to UFG Insurance, where she was also a dedicated employee for 25 years before her retirement in 2023. She met many wonderful, kind and caring people during her working years and formed many close and lifelong friendships.
Joann was a kind woman who cherished time with family and friends, especially enjoying dinners and get togethers. Above all, she found joy in the company of her family and her beloved dog, Penny.
Predeceased by her parents, John J. and Lena (Nosari) Koval; her sister and brother-in-law,
Janet and John Skwarek; she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Joe Dringus;
her granddaughter, Jillian Dringus; nephews, Paul Skwarek and Vincent Skwarek; as well as other relatives and dear friends.
Services are private and under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton.
