Richard “Dick” Bacsik, 93, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
Born and raised in Hamilton, NJ, he was a lifelong Hamilton Twp. resident. An honorably discharged US Navy Veteran, he was a member of the Navy League of the United States. Dick retired from the Township of Hamilton as the Chief Animal Control Officer after 33 years of service. He enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, and trips to Florida.
Predeceased by his parents, Peter and Pauline (Widenbach) Bacsik, brother-in-law, John R. Prihoda, Sr., and nephew, John R. Prihoda, Jr.; he is survived by his sister, Emily Prihoda; nephews, Francis Prihoda, Robert and Katherine Prihoda, and Richard and Kimberly Prihoda; as well as many great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
Burial with honors will be held Friday, November 26, 2021 at 11:30am SHARP at the
Brig. General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, North Hanover Twp., NJ 08562. Please arrive at the cemetery by 11:15 am at the main entrance staging area.
