Patricia B. VanSant, 81, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Capital Health Systems at Hopewell, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Trenton, NJ, and raised in Lawrenceville, she was a lifelong Hamilton area resident and graduate of Trenton Central High School. In her younger days she was employed with A&P, then going on to work for the State of New Jersey, DEP, retiring after more than 30 years of service.
Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had a 50-year friendship with the “Tuesday night ladies”, a group made up of dear friends and sisters, never letting anything come between their sacred time together. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed celebrating holidays with them, with St. Patrick’s Day being her favorite.
Predeceased by her parents, Albert and Mae (Dawson) Martin; and her two husbands, Leroy VanSant and Donald Sirolli; her siblings, Gerri Thomas and Linda D’Amico; and her niece, Terri Lynn Thomas; she is survived by her son, Donald Sirolli and his wife Mary Ellen; her daughter, Dawn Strano and her husband Michael; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Bob Myslinski;
brother, Buddy Martin; grandchildren, Brittney Doremus and her husband Kyle, and Michael Strano, Jr. and fiancé Anthony Monti, and Marty Derr, Jr. and fiancé Lisa Hawk; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Funeral services will be private under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes.
A Celebration of Patricia’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ancient Order of Hibernians, 2419 Kuser Road, Hamilton, NJ 08690.
