Normand L. Goyette, Jr.

August 11, 1957 - July 12, 2024

He said my presence will go with you and I will give you rest”. Exodus  33:14.

We say goodbye to Norm Goyette. Husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, grandfather, and great grandfather.  A great friend to many. A faithful member of the church and a servant of God.

On Friday, July 12, 2024, Normand L. Goyette Jr. passed away suddenly of a heart attack while at a family reunion in New Hampshire with the Goyette’s, where he truly loved to be.

He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Anyone who knew  Norm knew that he loved his family, loved his country, and loved the Lord.Norm is survived by his four children, four grandchildren, a great grandchild  and two sisters, all of whom he would’ve done anything for.

He served in the Navy, and Army. He worked for Lockheed Martin on the F117 stealth fighter project and others.  He worked for the Department of Justice at immigration court. He served in the Army and was part of “Operation Enduring Freedom” and “The War on Terror”.

After retirement, he served his family and church and volunteered at the church food pantry where he helped feed those in need.

“Well done, good and faithful servant-enter into the joy of the Lord”Matthew 25:23

Norm is with the Lord now. We all may miss him, but he is in no pain, has no worries, and he is getting questions answered that we have all had our entire lives by the Lord himself. As a Christian, he knew that was always his destination and looked forward to it.  2 Corinthians 5:8 reads, "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord".

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 29 at 12:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time at the service.

Burial will be private.
