Nelson E. Jimenez, 65, of Trenton, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 3, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, he moved to New Jersey more than 40 years ago, residing in the Trenton area ever since. He was employed with All Clean Janitorial for many years until his retirement. Nelson was a ladies’ man right up until the day he passed. He loved women, salsa music, dancing, and playing baseball. Most of all he loved his large family, especially his grandchildren and his birds.
Predeceased by his parents, Emerito Jimenez and Carmen Santiago Tirado; he is survived by his children, Yajaira E. (Bashawn), Yanetliza “Gugi” (Tony), Nelson E., Rosemarie “MiMi” (David), Victoria (Jibreel), Julissa, and Nelson; many siblings, both locally and in Puerto Rico; grandchildren, Azalea, Danahis, Julian, Hazel and Milo; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton.
Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 p.m.
Burial will follow in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton.
