Michael A. Dargay, Jr., 83, of Trenton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2022 at Capital Health Systems at Fuld, Trenton.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Trenton Central High School, class of 1958 and worked as a Sr. Corrections Officer with New Jersey State Prison until his retirement.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and crabbing, and trips to the casinos in Atlantic City.
Predeceased by his parents, Michael A. Dargay, Sr. and Lorinda (Patricella) Dargay; sisters, Loretta Onyszczuk, and Mary Lou Procopio; and his wife Rosemarie Dargay; he is survived by his brother, David Dargay and his wife Rosemary; sisters, Dorothy Salinitro, and Helene Siciliano and her husband Joseph; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, with local clergy officiating.
Vitiation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the Memorial Home.
Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be mad to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692
