Mary Lou DiNola, 82, of Yardville passed away peacefully on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a lifelong area resident, residing in Yardville for the past 58 years.
Mary Lou was a woman of immense faith and rejoiced in worshipping the Lord. She was a longtime active parishioner of St. Vincent DePaul Church, as well as a member of their Altar Rosary Society. Mary Lou was an extraordinary cook who enjoyed, gardening and trips to Atlantic City and the casinos. Most of all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and she cherished all of their holiday traditions, most of all Christmas Eve.
Predeceased by her parents, Peter and Josephine (Femiano) Picardi, and her brother-in-law, Frank Davis; she is survived by her loving companion of nearly 40 years, Joe Morreale; her daughters and sons-in-law, Nina Jo and Joseph Morreale; Susan and Chris Bresnen, and Joanne and Scott Dickson; sisters, Shirley Davis, and Michele Falcey and husband Bob; brother Dominic Picardi and wife Polly; 9 grandchildren, Rachel, Melissa, and Michael Morreale, Kathryn and Evan Bresnen, and Luke, Ryan, Owen, and Isabella Dickson; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, August 18, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 555 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
