Marion Longo, 93, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident. She was employed with the State of NJ, Dept. of Education, retiring after 25 years of service.
Marion was an avid reader who loved to play Bingo and take bus trips to gamble in Atlantic City. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and great aunt who loved spending time with her family.
Predeceased by her father, Joseph Russo; her mother and stepfather, Catherine (Russo) and Dominic Pellegrino; her husband, Frank Longo; sister, Josephine Soucy; son-in-law, Mike Bonyoczeczky; her grandson, John Paul Rooney, and her loving pets, FiFi, Buster and Pepper; she is survived by her daughters, Angela Rooney and Cathy Bonyoczeczky; 3 grandchildren, Michael, Jimmy and Jennifer (Ryan); 3 great grandsons, Anthony, Jimmy and Travis; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home.
Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
