Marion C. Homa, 93, of Crosswicks, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018, at RWJ University Hospital Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident, residing in Crosswicks since 1963. In her younger years, Marion sang on the Radio and also enjoyed performing. She always played the piano, and enjoyed playing classical music as well as show tunes. She sang in the choir at St. Vincent DePaul Church. Marion was also an animal lover, caring for all different animals through the years.
Daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret Bulavcsak Stankwitz, wife of the late John M. Homa, Jr., and sister of the late Dorothy Stankwitz, she is survived by her two children and their spouses, Jack and Patricia Homa, and Sue and Edward Newett II; three grandchildren, Edward Newett III, Kathleen Remick and spouse Kory, and Kathryn Homa; two great grandchildren, Ivy and Skye Remick; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
Relatives and friends may attend a visitation on Friday morning, November 30, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street in Hamilton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. at St Vincent DePaul Church in Yardville. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
