Margarita Rosado, 85, of Trenton, went home to be with the Lord, while surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, July 4, 2020.
Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, she was a longtime Trenton resident. Margarita was a devout Catholic and enjoyed praying at daily mass. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking and being with her family, but most of all she loved to help raise the babies, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, Ventura and Amelia Gonzalez; her beloved husband, Carmelo Rosado, Sr.; she is survived by her 5 devoted sons and daughters-in-law, Carmelo, Jr. and Lois Rosado, Juan and Ana Rosado, Edwin and Marilyn Rosado, Wilfredo and Rosa Rosado and Robert and Cindy Rosado; her brothers, Salvador Gonzalez, Ercilio “Chilo” Gonzalez, Eulalia “YaYa” Reyes; sister, Delores “Loly” and Ismael Rivera; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephew, cousins and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ.
Funeral services will begin on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 8:30am at the Buklad-Merlino-Memorial Home, 2141South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00am at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, 151 North Warren Street, Trenton, NJ 08608.
Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, masks and social distancing are required and capacity restrictions will be followed for all services.
