Lorraine Doyle

June 18, 1934 - October 18, 2024


Lorraine Doyle, 90, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 18, 2024.

 

She was a lifelong resident of the area. Lorraine thrived in her roles as wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She also took great joy in her ministry as choir director, first at St. Anthony’s Church in Trenton and later at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Yardville. Alongside her sister Regina who played the organ, Lorraine was the vocalist for many church weddings. For more than 35 years, Lorraine was employed as an office manager for Dr. Barry Wisler in Hamilton.

 

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary Kulczynski; her beloved husband of 63 years, Francis R. Doyle; and her sister, Regina Hoffman. Keeping her legacy alive are her six children, Nancy (Peter) Bernot, Diane (John) Connolly, Jim (Joanne) Doyle, Lori (Tim) Capestrani, Mary (Jim) Kotecki, and Amy (Todd) Rentner; along with her brother, Ronald (Rita) Kulczynski; her sister, Constance (Walter) Kawalec; and sister-in-law, Mary Doyle. She is lovingly

remembered by her 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

 

Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, October 28, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Yardville Memorial Home. Funeral services will begin Tuesday, October 29, at 10:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 555 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.

 

Interment will follow in the Brig. General William. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, North Hanover Twp, NJ.
