Lillian D. Kopcsik

August 13, 1931 - July 13, 2021

Lillian Kopcsik, long-time Trenton resident, passed away on Tuesday July 13, 2021. She was 1 month shy of her 90th birthday.

Lillian was born and grew up in Trenton, and worked at Circle F in Trenton for many years, both in the manufacturing plant and in the office in the Quality Control Department.

She spent the majority of her time on earth living a life that few can match. Lil never married or had kids of her own. So, she adopted everyone else's kids! She travelled to many places around the world, including New Zealand, Hawaii, England and Hungary (she was second generation Hungarian). She was a long-time bowler and travelled extensively throughout the US to compete in various tournaments. Along the way, she collected many, many friends and spoke lovingly of the times she spent with all of them.

Lil was a fun-loving, and happy woman, always smiling, constantly optimistic. She loved to tell stories of her life, and to hear about everyone else's life, too. She was loved by everyone, from those who have known her for decades to those she just recently met at the hospital and her nursing home, Greenwood House. Lil knew no strangers: To her, everyone was a friend.

She was pre-deceased by her parents and siblings and is survived by her three nephews...Roland Corallo, Ronald Nuel, Richard Nuel...and lovingly cared for by her "other" family the Trevors: JoAnn, Robert, Molly and Brian.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 S. Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610. The service will be led by Minister Nina Reeder.
