Lester A. Deamer, 92, of Yardville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong Hamilton area resident. He was employed as a Chemical Operator with Bayer Aspirin, for 43 years until his retirement. Les was a proud U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran having served his county during the Korean War. He was a Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. Les enjoyed his life, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents, Walter R. and Elizabeth N. (Van Ness) Deamer; brothers, Walter Deamer and William Deamer; his sister, Marie Merritt; and his wife, Mary Edna (Henry) Deamer; and his son, Michael Vlearbone. He is survived by his two sons, Lester (Maria) Deamer, and Pete Deamer; two daughters, Lisa (Bill) Adams, and Carol (John) Ott; 10 grandchildren, Christina (Bill), Marissa, Elizabeth (Matthew), Danielle (Mike), David, Danny, Billy, Kenny, Anneliese, and Johnny; 5 great grandsons, Aidan, Owen, Anthony, Cody and Andrew; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends, and his longtime caretaker, Mary.
Arrangements are private and under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home.
