Joseph S. Kaveski, Jr., 62, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away from Covid-19 on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Morristown Medical Center, as his daughter held his hand while reciting the 4th Joyful Mystery of the Holy Rosary.
Born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, he had resided in the Mercer County area for approximately 50 years. Joseph worked in the financial industry at MetLife State Street as a Financial Advisor and Pension Specialist. He owned Froggies in Chambersburg. Joseph worked for many years in the packaging industry at MRP Packaging, Cranbury, NJ, and he was employed for the past seven years as a General Manager with J-Packaging and Display LLC, East Brunswick, NJ.
Joseph loved his family and his church. He was a self-taught craftsman who enjoyed building things and he could fix just about anything. He enjoyed gardening, bowling, and cooking delicious steaks on his barbeque grill. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church and a member of the King’s Men of Saint Vincent DePaul. He had a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother and prayed the rosary daily. He was a loving husband, son, father, and brother and will be greatly missed.
Predeceased by his father, Joseph S. Kaveski, Sr., he is survived by his loving mother, Betty Kaveski; his devoted wife of 39 years, Evelyn (Quinn) Kaveski; his children, Dr. Lauren Kaveski and her husband Viet Le of Land O Lakes, FL; Kyle Kaveski of Hamilton, and Brandon Kaveski and his wife Gaelle of Hamilton; brothers, Richard Kaveski and wife Helene of Trenton, and Ronald Kaveski of Winter Haven, FL; sister, Gloria Kaveski-Nyul and husband Barry of Fort Dix; brothers and sister in-law, Marion and Alan Crum, and William Quinn; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021, from 8:30 AM-10:30 AM at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 555 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ 08620.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Society of St. Vincent DePaul, 555 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ 08620.

I just found out this sad news about Joe's passing. Joe was one of the nicest guys in our class (BRHS Class of '77). My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, family and friends. RIP Joe!
