Joseph Benedetti, 62, of Hamilton passed away peacefully while surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Helene Fuld Medical Center in Trenton, New Jersey.
Known as Joe, he was born on May 24, 1961 in Hamilton, New Jersey where he was raised by parents Helen and Maurice along with his brother Tom and sister Linda. Joe graduated from Hamilton High West in 1979 before starting a 40-year career as an electrician for Benedetti Electric.
Joe was a fixture of the Hamilton area for his whole life and could usually be found at the local bowling alley looking for the perfect 300 game, walking his beloved dog Cheech around the local parks, playing quates in his backyard with friends and family, kayaking around the local lakes, making sure Helen’s property was up to snuff, or having a beer and watching the game at the pub. Joe was an avid sports fan throughout his life and loved playing basketball, volleyball, football, hockey, snowboarding, ping pong, pool, and more - especially with his 3 sons Christopher, Joseph, and Vincent.
He was predeceased by his father, Maurice and sister, Linda. Joe is survived by his sons Christopher, Joseph, and Vincent; his mother, Helen; and his brother Tom; along with numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and dear friends. While Joe may no longer be with us, his memory and infectious personality will live on through his family and friends.
His family would like to thank all the caregivers at the Helene Fuld Medical Center for the wonderful medical care Joe received in his last days.
