Jose D. Borerro, 35, of Hightstown, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 25, 2021.
Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, he spent his childhood in Carteret, before moving to Hightstown at the age of 11. His family then moved to Hamilton where they made their home.
Jose enjoyed drawing, playing chess, and reading, especially the Bible, one of his favorite verses is Romans 5:1-6. Most of all he loved and adored his family, especially his children.
Survived by his father, Ivan A. Borrero; his mother and stepfather, Migdalia and Mario Calle; his children, daughter, Iyana Chew and son, Soulle Borrero; siblings, Ivan Borrero, Luis Borrero and Carmen Borrero; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and other relatives.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlno Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home.
Burial will follow in Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his sister or his mother, Carmen Borrero or Migdalia Calle, c/o Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ.
