December 6, 1963 - March 12, 2023
Jonathan H. Hunt, 59, of Trenton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 12, 2023, while at home in Manor, Texas. He was born and raised in Trenton, NJ and was a
lifelong White City area resident. He moved to Austin, TX five years ago, but recently relocated to Manor.
Jonathan was a die-hard Philly fan, always rooting for the Eagles, 76’rs and the Phillies. He spent more than 20 years coaching his sons’ football team with Pop Warner
and basketball with Hamilton Little Lads, where his teams would most often come in first place. He knew his sports! Jonathan studied Culinary Arts and worked at the
Treadway Inn, where he was a Chef. This experience led him to win a 1st place award in Ice Sculpting. He then moved on to work for the Charter Club in Princeton, NJ as a Sous Chef, and then as a Butcher at Sam's Club. His ambition and work ethic led him
to open his own Handyman Company, J.H. & Sons, named in hope for his family, where
he offered employment opportunities to those less fortunate in the community.
Jonathan had a brilliant mind that could calculate numbers as quickly as any calculator.
He taught his children about scrapping, and showed them the value of things most
people would consider junk, even a piece of scrap metal could be worth something.
Jonathan made friends easily, people were drawn to him, he never met a stranger, and
everyone was a friend. He was a man of faith, family and love, but most of all, he loved
his family. He loved spending time together fishing, at the Jersey Shore, or cooking
them a meal. It was the time he spent with each of them which brought him the most
joy. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend, and will be mourned by all
of those blessed to have known him.
Jonathan is predeceased by his parents, John Hunt and Joan Hunt.
He leaves to mourn his ex-wife Monica Williams and their six children, RaShaun
Williams, Janae Higgs (mother Virginia), Estevan Roman (mother Diane), Jon Williams
(Cristina Valdez), Ian Williams (Rochelle Hand), and Morgan Hunt; his grandchildren,
Aliana Valdez-Williams, Sa’Myi Williams, RaShaun Williams Jr., Kevin Maisey, Jolin
Maisey, Zeus Williams, ZeLiyah Higgs, and soon to debut, baby girl, Royalty (Carlos)
Lucas; his siblings, Sharon Hunt Aldridge, Yvonne “Bunny” Hunt, Holli (Ulysses
Frederick, their grandchildren Damien & Rajesh Wilson), Heather Hunt, Hillary Hunt
(Jay Johnson) and Carmella Nelson; his nephews: Kyle (Holly and their children Kyle
Jr. & Maverick) Hunt, Terrence Hunt and Jacquez Johnson, nieces Brittany (Gretsky
Fleurant and their children Gavin, Gabriel & Grae) and Tori Johnson (Drae McKenzie);
his loving girlfriend Nichelle Hudnall, as well as a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins, other relatives and friends too numerous to list.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 11:00
