Jon A. Herncane, 59, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Levittown, PA, he has been a Hamilton Twp. Resident for the past 30 years. He graduated from Neshaminy Maple Point High School, class of 1979. Jon worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Giles & Ransome, Inc., Bensalem, PA for 29 years and most recently at Palfinger in Trenton. He was a member of the Bucks County HOG club and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Jon was an avid car racing fan both dirt tracks and NASCAR. He cherished family vacations, most of all those spent at Deep Creek Lake, Maryland. But above all , Jon loved his family, especially his beautiful daughters.
Predeceased by his father, Tucker Herncane; his step father, Fred McRoberts; mother-in-law, Theresa MacNicoll, and niece, Helene Herncane, he is survived by, his loving wife of 30 years, Maryann MacNicoll Herncane; his mother, Nancy Williams McRoberts; daughters, Emily Herncane and fiancé Daniel Onorati, and Shelby Herncane and fiancé Scott Frazee; step mother, Heddy Herncane; siblings, Christopher Herncane, Andrea (Chet) Radcliff and Tucker (Eileen) Herncane; step sisters, Betty McRoberts, Debbie (Juan) Cordero and Barbara Albertson; sisters-in-law, Mette Herncane and Debie (Robin) Woods; father-in-law Henry MacNicoll; his canine companions Bailee and Willow; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and neighbors.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. 10:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton.
Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday February 16, 2021 from
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Memorial Home.
Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
