John N. Basenko, 65, of Browns Mills, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mt. Holly, NJ.
Born in Pittsburgh, his family moved to Morrisville, PA when he was 4 years old. For the past 27 years he has resided in the Browns Mills area.
John was a loving husband, father, and good family man who was stubborn in his own way. He was an avid Pittsburg Steeler fan who enjoyed playing pool and listening to country music, especially Elvis. He was a welder and a Jack of all trades who enjoyed landscaping with his friend Kevin.
Predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Ann (Solutzo) Basenko; and his brothers, Mike and Joey; he is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Donna L. (Higgs) Basenko; a daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Josh Miller; two sisters, Vikki and Cheryl; a brother, Bill; a brother-in-law, Pat Wysienski and his wife Mere; 2 special nieces, April and Brandie; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton.
Cremation will be held privately.
