James J. Meisner, Sr., 81, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Capital Health Systems at Fuld, Trenton, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. He worked for U.S. Steel for many years before retiring. He then went on to work at Hutchinson Industries and retired after many years of service.
James enjoyed watching all the old Western Movies, listening to Country music, and eating BBQ. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Margaret (Dansbury) Meisner; his loving wife, Mary D. Meisner; brother-in-law, Vincent D. Ferrara; and his son Brian A. Meisner; he is survived by a son, James J. Meisner, Jr,; a daughter and a son-in-law, Dominica M. and Joseph Scharnitz; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Meisner; brother and sister-in-law, Jake and Shirley Meisner; brother-in-law and a sister-in-law, Frank and Kathy Ferrara; grandchildren, Justin and Laura Scharnitz, and Alayna and Parker Meisner; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Memorial Home.
Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Hamilton.
