James E. Gladden, Jr., 63, of Yardville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.
Born in Hackensack, NJ, he lived in many different ports of the USA, residing in Yardville for the past 20 years. Jim retired from the Army Airforce Exchange after 20 years of service. He enjoyed yard work and gardening, music, trips to Atlantic City and most recently Parx Casino.
Predeceased by his parents, James E. Sr., and Marie (Vandeveerdunk) Gladden, brother, Brian Gladden, and nephew, Paul Hutchinson; he is survived by his brothers, Nicholas Brown and John Gladden and his wife Susan; sister Maria Presseau and her husband Michael with whom he has resided for the past 30 years; nieces and nephews, Melissa Gladden, Brian Gladden, Jr., Toni Ann Gladden, Jessica Gladden, John Gladden, Jr., James Gladden, Heather Carmen, Christina Carabelli and husband Joseph, Michael Presseau, Jr., Elora Presseau, Amanda Presseau; and Arrabella Stevens who lovingly referred to Jim as Uncle Jinkle man; great nieces and great nephews, Vincent Carabelli, Nicholas Carabelli, Joseph Carabelli, Jr.; step nieces and step nephews; Michael Roberts, Richie Roberts and Amber Roberts, Christopher Rzonca and Jennifer Welshman; and good friends, Terri Gladden, Fran Godwin, Chuck Ryan and Wendy Copeland; as well as many other relatives, and friends.
Arrangements are private and under the direction of Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, Hamilton.
