Irene Solderich, 92, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Brandywine Living in Princeton.
Born in Bethlehem, PA, she was a resident of Hamilton and Lawrenceville for many years before moving to Princeton several years ago.
Irene was a proud homemaker devoting herself to the care of her home and four children. Throughout the years she held various positions in the Hamilton School System and the State of NJ. Irene was an avid reader and film buff and an accomplished ice skater who also enjoyed ballroom dancing with her late husband, Leroy. Most of all Irene loved spending time with her family and indulging her grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Caroline (Petrila) Racosky; her son, Michael Solderich; son-in-law, Edward Olszewski; and her beloved husband, Leroy Solderich who passed away in 2020. She is survived by her brother, Thomas Racosky; daughters, Sharon (Paul) Saatsoglou, Georgette (Andrew) Mkrtitschian, and Leeann Olszewski; daughter-in-law, Donna Solderich; grandchildren, Tiffany, Jamie, Stephanie, Laura, Stacey and Michael; great grandchildren, Michael, Leo, Milo and Amber Rose; as well as many other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation for family and friends will begin, Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11:30 am at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ 08620, followed by a Commital Service at 1:30 pm SHARP at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
