Gary T. Welsh

August 25, 1952 - February 20, 2022


Gary T. Welsh, 69, of Bordentown, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.


Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Trenton/Bordentown area resident. He attended Cathedral High School and played on their baseball team. Gary worked at ACME in Hamilton for more than 46 years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing with his brother Bobby on their boat “The Shady Wolf”. He liked sports, especially the Boston teams, the Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics, but he was fond of the Green Bay Packers as well. He also enjoyed golf and playing street hockey with his brothers, and playing softball for Lestician’s Trucking.


Predeceased by his parents, Richard and Joan Bernadette (Johannes) Welsh, and his wife Cynthia F. Welsh; he is survived by his daughter Courtney Johnson; son James Welsh; siblings, Richard (Rosetta) Welsh, Linda (Edward) Varncik, Robert (Gina) Welsh, William (Lisa) Welsh, Michael (Jeanine) Welsh, and Patrick (Anna) Welsh; sister-in-law, Eileen Fitzpatrick; grandchildren, Carleigh and Avery Johnson; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.


Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from

6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home,

30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ 08620.


A prayer service will be held at 8:00 p.m.


Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
