Fulvia (Zulla) Cattani, 87, of Bordentown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 26, 2023 while at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Sant’Angelo Alife Italy, she was a longtime resident of Trenton until her retirement, when she moved to Bordentown in 2003. She was the proud owner of Dino’s Meat Market in Trenton where she spent her time running day to day operations and honing her true passion of being a master chef. After selling and retiring from their family business Fulvia, went on to work as a chef alongside her husband Dino (the butcher) at Risoldi’s Thriftway.
Her greatest pleasure in life was her family. To her, nothing was more special than her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to cook, spend time outside, vacationing with her family, and singing.
Predeceased by her loving parents, Ferdinando and Margherita (Visone) Zulla; her mother-in-law, and father-in-law, Giovanna and Antonio Cattani; sisters, Anna and Teresa; and her precious granddaughter, Alyssa Marie Cattani; she is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Dino Cattani; sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Stacey Cattani and Ferdinando and Kim Cattani; siblings, Alphonso (Kathy) Zulla, Antonio (Linda) Zulla, Maria (Mauro) Matteucci, Carmela Bender, Maria Grazia (Bob) Zoda and Angie Ancelo; grandchildren Anthony (Amanda), Nicholas, Samantha (Greg), Tyler (Jessica), Alexander, and Christian; great grandchildren, Aubree, Sofiah, Laycie, Wyett and Lyla; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
Visitation for family and friends from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
