Florence Louise DeGregory, (nee Kotz), 97, of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021, at home.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
Florence was a member of St. Raphael’s-Holy Angels Parish and a former member of their choir and Elderberry club. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the bingo and trips to Atlantic City. Most of all Florence loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Predeceased by her husband John DeGregory, and her 8 siblings, Florence is survived by her four sons and daughters-in-law, John (Joan) DeGregory, Gary (Barbara) DeGregory, Dennis (Betty Ann) DeGregory, and Paul DeGregory with whom she resided and in recent years provided her with the extra care she required, grandchildren, Chris, Brian, Dominic, Kevin, and Christina DeGregory; four great grandchildren, Anthony, Logan, Jake, and Ava; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday morning, July 14, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. (with a prayer service at 9 a.m.) at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Florence’s family is very grateful for Vitas Hospice, especially Chrissy and Jasmine, for the compassion and love they showed their mother these past few months.
