Eleanor Kovacs, 67, of Hamilton Twp., passed away on May 23, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Trenton, she was an area resident all her life.
She was a graduate of Hamilton High West, Mercer County Community College, and The Helene Fuld School of Nursing, class of 1991. Eleanor was employed as a Registered Nurse at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, from which she retired in 2008.
She loved to travel, and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Robert G. and Ruth (Beishline) McRoberts, sister of the late Fred McRoberts, William R. McRoberts, Robert B. McRoberts, Ruth E. and Guy Friend, she is also pre-deceased by a nephew Robert W. McRoberts. Eleanor is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Steven Kovacs of Hamilton, her children Ryan J. Kovacs (Pamela Johnson) of Hamilton, and Michael R. Kovacs of Hamilton, grandchildren Jacob, Zack, and Ryleigh, two sisters-in-law Nancy McRoberts, and Bobbie McRoberts, nieces Betty, Debbie (Juan), Barbara, Robin (Jim), Cheri (Rick), and William, great nieces and nephews Jon, Sara (Joseph), Christina, Lauren (Lance), Breanne (Ron), Lynsie (John), Adam, Nicholas, and Maci, several great great nieces and nephews, her lifelong friend Marla Piscopo (Danny), and many more treasured friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 10:00am at the Buklad Memorial Home 2141 South Broad St., Hamilton, NJ 08610. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home, and again on Wednesday morning from 9:00am until the time of service.
Entombment will take place at the Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Hamilton.
