Donald G. Arrison

September 27, 1955 - August 19, 2024

 

 Donald G. Arrison, 68, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully  on Monday, August 19, 2024.

 

Born in Hamilton, he was a lifelong area resident, graduating from Steinert High School and Mercer County Community College. Don was a proud honorably discharged veteran of the US Air Force, having served time in Fairbanks, Alaska. He started his career at Mershon Concrete and went on to own his own company, ADCON Concrete, that specialized in foundations and footings. He was currently employed as an Inspector with the Township of Lawrence Housing Dept. for the past 21 years. Don loved his saltwater fish tank, feeding the birds, enjoyed watching the Discovery Chanel, History Chanel, and Food Network, and loved to cook.  He was the consummate handy man and could fix just about anything. In his spare time, he loved spending time with his family, especially his dog Spikey.

 

Predeceased by his parents, Donald V. and Joan (Hornyak) Arrison; and his first wife, Barbara Sipos Arrison; he is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Sunny C. Arrison; daughters, Stacy (Jason) Mongold, Stephanie (Matt) DiDomenico, and Esther (Ed) Wieczorek; a brother, Steven Arrison; a sister, Janice (John) Wilson; grandchildren, Hailee, Natalie, Matthew, Elijah, Madeline; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

 

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home.

 

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 at 9:00  a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.

 

Interment with Air Force honors will follow in the Brig. General Wm. C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, North Hanover Twp., NJ.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to any animal shelter/rescue of the donor’s choice.
