Debora Hood Azzaro

November 2, 1956 - February 28, 2024


Debora “Debbie”  Hood Azzaro, 67, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.

 

Born in Trenton, NJ she was a lifelong area resident, spending more than 50 years in the Hamilton area.

 

Debbie was employed with the State of NJ and retired with 39 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed dancing, doo wop music, trips to Parx Casino and animals.   She loved to take pictures of everybody and anything.  But most of all, Debbie loved her family and friends and the time she spent making memories with them.

 

Predeceased by her mother, Lorraine Johnson; she is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Dominick “Chip” Azzaro;  her son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Jennifer Roth;  her siblings, John Johnson and wife, Lisa, Donna Hummel and Joe Leammari, Robin Reimer, and John Hood and wife, Cheryl; 3 grandchildren, Lindsey, Mackensie and Kelsey Roth; and her father, John Hood; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

 

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, 626 South Olden Avenue, Trenton, NJ.

 

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church.

 

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Homes, Hamilton.

 

All services will be held in the church, no calling hours at the funeral home.
