Cornelius Patrick Carrigan, 81, of Trenton, passed away peacefully on January 4 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Trenton area resident. Mr. Carrigan served in the U.S. military as a Navy Petty Officer aboard the USS F.D. Roosevelt CVA 42. He was self-employed as an interior decorator until his retirement in 2015. Pat loved spending time with his family and friends, especially the family vacations spent at the Jersey shore and Florida.
Predeceased by his parents, Grace and Neil Carrigan; he is survived by his wife Gloria Carrigan; five devoted children and their spouses
Tracey, Patti Ann and Everette, Jesus and Nicole, Maria and Robert, and Wendy; four brothers and their spouses, James and Patricia, Michael, Jack, and Danny and Joyce; his uncle Robert and wife Karen; sister-in-law Gladys; his wonderful grandchildren, Billy, Erica, Victor, Priscilla, Salina, Maribella, Marissa, Naomi, Santino, Andrew, Jovanni, Jacky, Anthony; two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Benito; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from
10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home,
30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
Funeral services will begin at 12:30 p.m. with local clergy officiating.
Burial with honors will follow at the Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, North Hanover Twp., NJ.

We were so sorry and deeply saddened about Pat's passing. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. We were proud to call Pat our friend and will miss him very much. It is with many fond memories of Pat and his family that I write this tribute. He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor. He was an Art major at TJC in down town Trenton which is where we met. He is missed and loved by many. RIP Patrick.
