Charles H. Nalbone, 92, of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at RWJ Hospital in Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Trenton/Hamilton Area resident.
Charles was an Army Veteran of World War II. He retired from General Motors in Ewing Township with 50 years of service. Charles was a long time parishioner of Holy Angels Church and most recently St. Raphael’s Church. He also was a member of the Hamilton Elks. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, adored his grandchildren and the time he spent with them, he enjoyed traveling, and trips to the different casinos in Atlantic City. He also loved spending time outdoors working on different projects. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and father-in-law, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Son of the late Vincenzo and Giuseppina Nalbone, brother of the late Joseph, Samuel, Russell, Frances, Angelo and Vincenzo “Jimmy” Nalbone, Josephine Nalbone, and Grace Rossi, he is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years Mary Russo Nalbone, his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Robert Peterman; his sister Mary Nalbone; and his two grandchildren Robert and Danielle Peterman.
A visitation will be held on Monday morning, April 15, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street in Hamilton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Church. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
