Beatriz Vargas, 58 of Hamilton Twp., NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, she traveled between Brooklyn and Puerto Rico in her youth. As an adult she settled in the Trenton area and resided there for more than 30 years before moving to Hamilton. She was employed for the past 10 years with Princeton Spine and Joint Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed flea markets and trips to Atlantic City and Parx Casino. Beatriz was a devoted, loving, selfless mother, daughter, sister and aunt who always put others before herself. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Predeceased by her father, Bonifacio Vargas; she is survived by her mother, Carmen Vega; her son, Egland J. Brumley; 2 brothers; a sister; and many other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610, with a prayer service beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
