Barbara Bloom, 78, of Trenton, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, January 7, 2022 at St. Francis Medical Center, in Trenton.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong Trenton area resident and graduated from Trenton High School. She was a longtime employee at Lockheed Martin and their CDM A-Team. While employed she was instrumental in providing personnel with the correct documentation to ensure satellites worked perfectly. She loved her job and was always willing to go the extra mile to make sure people got the information they needed. Barb was a true Trenton Titans fan who traveled to away games with her sister Pam, it was the best time of their lives.
She was a caretaker for her sister Pam and also enjoyed trips to Parx Casino for regular donations.
Predeceased by her parents, Abe and Ruth (Parent) Bloom, her brother Joe Bloom, 3 sisters, Pamela, Eva R. Barrett, and Bonnie Pucci; 2 brothers-in-law, Gene Pucci and Patrick P. Barrett, and great nephew, John; she is survived by her nephew and caretaker, Patrick D. Barrett; nieces, Vicki (Jim) Forrest and Sherry Bloom; nephews, Joe (Maria) Bloom and Michael (Tanya) Bloom; sister-in-law, Kathleen Bloom as well as many other great nieces, great nephews other many dear friends from work and her hockey family.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at the Memorial Home.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home, 2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
