Arthur J. “Thumper” Golding, 70, of Robbinsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Capital Heath Medical Center-Hopewell.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. An Army veteran who proudly served his country in the Vietnam War, he was employed as a draftsman for many years, working with Hopewell Valley Engineering prior to his retirement 15 years ago. Thumper as he was affectionately called, enjoyed fishing, camping, NASCAR and was a Philadelphia Eagles fan. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Predeceased by his parents, Arthur E. and Ellen (Reid) Golding; and his brother John Golding, he is survived by his son, Matthew Golding, his daughter, Jennifer Rodriguez and husband Steven; his siblings, Jeanie Riggio, Mary Palma and Edward Golding and wife Laurie; his grandchildren Julia Golding, Adam Rodriguez and Jillian Rodriguez; nieces, Erin Sullivan, Coleen Christensen, Dana Earl, Jessica Delahanty, Jacqueline Palma, Rachel Golding and Courtney Golding; his great nephew, Alex Christensen, as well as many great nieces and great nephews.
Catholic funeral prayers will be at 6:00pm, on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
A viewing for family and friends will be held from 4:00pm-6:00pm prior to the funeral service at the Yardville Memorial Home.
