Arlene T. Behan-Bastian, 71, of Yardville, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills NJ.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong Trenton/Hamilton area resident, having lived in Yardville for the past 20 years. She was happily retired from the State of NJ where she worked as a WordPerfect Supervisor and MIS trainer for over 25 years. Arlene enjoyed cooking, cruising, gambling trips to Atlantic City and Philly Park, and spending time on the beach watching the ocean. She liked to have fun and enjoyed herself playing cards, Scrabble and Words With Friends. But most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Predeceased by her parents, Richard and Eleanor (Thomas) Bryant, late sisters Joyce Budden, Margaret Kerwick and Janice Bryant; she is survived by her husband Kenneth Bastian; daughter Colleen Behan; grandson, Joseph Burns; brother, Denny Bryant; sisters, Candace Toft and her husband Kevin, and Beverly Bitonti and her late husband Carmen; nephew and godson, Mark Harding; nephew, Michael Toft; niece, Hayley Toft; step-daughter, Kelly Bastian; grandchildren, Giovanni Bastian, Makayla Rivera and Marlea Jester; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30am at St. Gregory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 9:30am-11:00am at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Hamilton.
