Anna Georgousis, 78, of Hamilton, entered God’s loving care Monday,
October 10, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Munich, Germany, Anna came to the USA in 1956 and lived in Trenton. She went on to live and work in New York City for many years, and then in 1970 she moved back to the Trenton area where she owned and operated A&G Painting Company with her family. Anna loved taking long walks with her dog, and spending time working in her garden. But most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who was kind and compassionate, and will be dearly missed.
Predeceased by her parents, Ivan and Maria (Petruniak) Hanasewych; brothers, John Hanasewych and Theodore Hanasewych; dear friend and former husband, Angelo Georgousis; and her son John Georgousis; she is survived by her daughters, Anastasia (Staci) and her husband Kevin McDonald, and AnnaMaria Georgousis and her husband Saki Zorbas; 2 grandchildren, Penelope and Eva Zorbas; sisters-in-law, Marybeth Hanasewych and Jeanne Houghton; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday October 14, 2022 from 6:00 p.m – 8:00 p.m. at Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, Yardville.
Funeral Services will begin Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Road, Allentown.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
