Alfonso Valius

May 8, 1931 - April 7, 2022

Alfonso Valius, 90, of East Windsor, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.


Born in Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he was a long time NJ resident. He enjoyed fishing, camping, birding, riding his motorcycle, and stamp collecting. Alfonso was a jovial, witty, and entertaining man. He like to cook, and feed his family and friends, but he also liked to eat.


He and his wife Albina had a passion for travel. They enjoyed being immersed in new cultures and loved trying new foods. It was a passion that they passed on to their children.


After sharing a lifetime of love, 56 years of marriage,

a beautiful family, and trips and adventures too numerous to list,

Alfonso has been reunited with the love of his life, his beloved Albina who passed away in 2020.


He retired from General Motors after many years of service.


Predeceased by his parents, and wife Albina Valius in 2020; he is survived by his daughter, Sandra Valius; son, Daniel Valius; and many other relatives in Argentina.


Services are private and under the direction of Buklad-Merlino Memorial Home,

2141 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ.
